Replacing Single Teeth

One dental implant will replace the lost natural tooth and its root. This provides several advantages:

• The teeth on either side do not need to be ground down for a cemented bridge
• Implants do not decay or get cavities
• You can floss between your teeth
• Implants prevent bone loss that occurs with loss of teeth

Replacing Several Teeth

Using two or more implants, permanent teeth can be placed, avoiding the need for removeable dentures.

Replacing All of Your Teeth

Implants can be used to secure all of your teeth. This prevents the loss of bone that occurs with wearing conventional dentures, and allows for normal function for many years. In some situations we can place implants and fixed teeth at the same appointment. Implants can be placed in situations where patients have worn dentures for many years and there has been severe loss of supporting bone.
